Two very individual artists with two completely different instruments are becoming one union. This happens without anyone losing his individuality. "neurotransmiter! featurs Peter Brötzmann on Saxophone and Achim Jaroscheck on Grand piano. Brötzmann is very popular in the avantgard jazz scene, but also the much younger Achim Jaroscheck is a great avantgard musician. The three tracks on "neurotransmiter" show the different aspects in Brötzmann and Jaroschecks music. From electronic acid jazz, experimental avantgard jazz to a kind of chamber music they present a wide spectrum of music
Two of three compositions are from Achim Jaroschek. His last solo piano recording has recieved a lot of good critics in Germany. All famous Jazz magazines and other newspapers said that he is not only a good composer, also a great piano player. Actually it is hard to believe that he was a rock drummer. The well known Joachim Kühn was the one who showed him the right way.
The interantional well known free jazz artists Peter Brötzmann is understood nowadays also in Germany. In the past his creativity and the way of composing and, playing were not much popular. Today he is a star.
